Ashanti Douglas, popularly referred to as Ashanti and born in Glen Cove New York United States on the 13th of October, 1980. She is a performer and singer of her native United States. Ashanti became famous as a teenager and eventually became signed to Murder Inc. Records in 2002. She appeared in fat Joe's What's Luv? song that the same year. song and Ja Rule's Always On Time track. Both became massive hits.
